Hi! I am a 25-year-old wildlife and science enthusiast who has just finished a PhD at The Edward Grey Institute of Field Ornithology, University of Oxford. My research concerned behavioural ecology and evolution, using wild animal populations to understand how the external environment and internal demographic processes affect population behaviour and ecology. Outside of my research, I love exploring and learning about the natural world through birdwatching, photographic trips and bird ringing. Most of the photos published on this blog are taken around my local area of Oxfordshire and frequently visited Cornwall, but I love travelling around all areas of the UK and beyond! I am passionate about science communication and outreach, where I enjoy making the fascinating research of the natural world as accessible as possible.
