​Hi! I'm a 24-year-old PhD student at The Edward Grey Institute of Field Ornithology, University of Oxford. My research concerns ecology, evolution and animal behaviour - specifically aiming to understand the causes and consequences of variation in age-structure on natural populations. Outside of my research, I love exploring and learning about the natural world through photographic trips and endeavours (Camera - Olympus OM-D E-M10). Most of the photos published on this blog are taken around my local area of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, but I love visiting all areas of the UK and beyond! I am also passionate about science communication and outreach; I love making the fascinating research that goes into the natural world and biology more broadly as accessible as possible.
