​Hi! I'm a 25-year-old PhD student at The Edward Grey Institute of Field Ornithology, University of Oxford. My research concerns ecology, evolution and animal behaviour - specifically aiming to understand the causes and consequences of variation in age-structure in natural populations. Outside of my research, I love exploring and learning about the natural world through photographic trips and endeavours (Camera - Olympus OM-D E-M10). Most of the photos published on this blog are taken around my local area of Oxfordshire, but I love visiting all areas of the UK and beyond! I am also passionate about science communication and outreach; I love making the fascinating research that goes into the natural world, and biology more broadly, as accessible as possible.
