Waynflete Project - "Rewilding Britain: How Could the Eurasian Lynx Viably be Reintroduced to the UK?"

Alongside my sixth-form studies, I have conducted an extracurricular research project culminating in my own recommendations for the reintroduction of Lynx to the UK. I compared success rates of past European reintroductions and considered the species' biology to formulate this proposal. My project was awarded a Distinction and was judged by a panel of Oxford University academics, including Professor Sir David Clary, President of Magdalen College, Oxford, where it was awarded a further President's Prize. I am now keenly following the issues faced in rewilding.
I will present my project to a public audience and answer questions on my proposal in February 2017. The full project can be found below:
